Destination Conference & Incentive (DCI) is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Under the direction of the Principal and Accredited Meeting Manager, Kerrie Wise, the business provides over 20 years of experience and knowledge in managing conferences and events. During the past 10 years of operation the business has successfully managed numerous successful conferences both Nationally and Internationally. DCI also include management of conference cruises and special interest tours within their portfolio.
Along with a professional management team that covers extensive inside hotel knowledge, DCI provide their negotiating expertise to ensure the best value for their clients events. This combined with the teams onsite logistical skills ensures a successful event every time and the reason they secure a high level of repeat business from year to year. DCI continually developed service standards to ensure they exceed client expectations.
Kerrie Wise, Principal AMM – Kerrie has 20 year's experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Over the past 11 year's she has built an exceptionally experienced conference management business. Kerrie continually developes the team knowledge necessry to professionally manage each conference. Kerrie has been an Accredited Meeting Manager for 6 years.
Kerrie's specific expertise incorporates all areas of conference planning. Kerrie will handle the preparation of the conference business plan and critical path planning schedule; development of the conference program; preparation of the marketing schedule; speaker program and call for papers; theme planning and has extensive knowledge in developing sponsorship packages in line with the conference budget.
Karen Revell, Executive Assistant - Has over 23 years experience in the hospitality and travel industry and provides a personal and professional service to your conference delegates. Karen has been involved with DCI for the past 7 years and is now a share partner in the business. Karen's strengths are heading and managing the registration, accommodation, securing sponsorship and handling and every aspect of the management of the trade and exhibition area.
Sandra Mitchell, Event Secretariat – Sandra joined the Destination Conference & Incentive team in 2011 and brings to the business many years of administration experience that ensures each confrence managed is handled both professionally with with a high level of expertise. Sandra manages the delegate administration side of the business. This includes delegate registrations & accommodation, sponsorship development and onsite event management.
Linda Dempsey – Linda has an extensive administrative, management and organisational background from nearly 20 years experience in government and corporate international assignments. Combined with nearly three years in the travel industry she has the flexibility to assist in all operational requirements.
Rejana Weerts – has been involved with DCI for over 3 years and has a University Degree in Business and Tourism. Rejana works within the affiliated travel agency that is association with DCI provides a personal service for delegates travel and liaises with the DCI team to manage requirements for speakers travel and accommodation arrangements.
